A Los Angeles County sheriff's deputy died after becoming unconscious at a police station Saturday afternoon.
South Los Angeles Station requested an ambulance around 4 p.m. Saturday for an unconscious deputy, the sheriff's department said, according to Fox 11.
The deputy was pronounced deceased. The cause of his death is unknown.

Authorities have not released the identity of the deputy.
A procession took place from the South Los Angeles train station to the coroner's office.
