I also tried to lodge a complaint in Mumbai, as he has not returned so cannot be lodged here. Gurucharanji's health had also deteriorated for the past few days. He has been unwell for the past several days, so it is feared that his blood pressure had increased and some tests were done before going to Delhi. He didn't even eat much before leaving for Delhi, I hope he recovers and returns safely.”

Delhi Police issued an official statement regarding Gurucharan Singh

DCP South-West Rohit Meena told NI, “Gurcharan Singh's family has lodged a complaint with us that he left for Mumbai on April 22 at 8:30 pm. He has been missing ever since.” We have registered a case and are investigating from many angles. We are searching the footage and technical investigation and have got many important clues… We have registered a case under IPC Section 365… Preliminary investigation includes this. According to CCTV, their movements are being monitored and technical evidence is being analysed. “He was seen leaving with a backpack.” A CCTV footage has also surfaced, which shows that on April 22 at 9.14 pm. In this, Gurucharan Singh is seen at Parashuram Chowk in Palam area of Delhi.
