The definition of women-centric films in Hindi cinema is issue-based stories. There are very few female-centric films that have comedy, glamour, and not just one but three A-list actresses, which makes Crew special. But the film fails on the most important aspect of the film, the story. The film's treatment of a weak story is interesting, so if the case isn't heavy, it's certainly time-passed.
The story is far from reality
Hardly anyone has forgotten the case of Vijay Mallya, the controversial businessman who fled the country to London with a bank loan of crores of rupees and the collapse of his Kingfisher Air Lines business. The story of the film Crew is also inspired by this. Geeta Sethi (Tabu), Jasmine (Kareena Kapoor Khan) and Divya Rana (Kriti Sanon) work as air hostesses in Vijay Walia's (Saraswat Chatterjee) Airlines Kohinoor. Thousands of other employees of the airline are working with these three. It's been six months. Unpaid and in financial trouble, these three air hostesses get involved in gold smuggling. They start smuggling gold from India to Alberg and fulfill their needs and dreams with the money they get. Meanwhile, she comes under the suspicion of customs officials and learns that the owner of her airline has fled the country and that the gold she smuggled belongs to the airline's owner, who violated employee rights. These three decide by killing. To bring back that gold. How they go to another country and bring back that gold and victory. This is the story after the interval.
Advantages and disadvantages of film
The story of the film Crew revolves around fugitive Vijay Mallya and his sunken airline Kingfisher. The film seems interesting till the first half when the gold is being smuggled, but in the second half the film completely drifts away from reality. Is it that easy to bring Vijay Mallya to India? Well, apart from this aspect of cinematic liberty, the rest of the treatment of the film is interesting. The movie keeps you laughing and tickling throughout. So the film is saved from becoming cumbersome in the second half. The music of the film is full of recreated songs. Maro Ghagharo Te Choli Ke Peech Kya Hai in Delhi City, but these remixes have been weak. Couldn't do justice to these songs. The ending credits song of the movie Naina definitely sounds great. Even the soundtrack of the film could not do justice to the film.

Kareena Kapoor Khan won
Talking about the acting, all the three actresses Kareena, Tabu and Kriti have done a great job and the weak story is handled by their acting but Kareena Kapoor Khan wins. His character is the most interesting of the three and he portrays it in an interesting way. The chemistry of the trio is worth watching on screen as well. The glamor style of these three in the film is also special. While Kapil Sharma appeared in a cameo appearance in the film, Diljit Dosanjh also had nothing to do in the film.
