The Mumbai Police's crime branch told a local court on Tuesday that the two arrested accused had opened fire outside Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's house with the intention of killing him. Bihar-based accused Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal were absconding after the firing outside Salman Khan's residence at Galaxy Apartments in Bandra area on Sunday morning. He was arrested late Monday night. According to police, Vicky was riding a motorcycle at the time of the incident and Sagar, who was sitting on the back, opened fire at the actor's house. Both were produced in the magistrate's court here on Tuesday. Where the police sent him to 14 days custody. The police revealed that the accused have been charged under sections 307 (attempt to murder), 120-B (criminal conspiracy) and 34 (acts committed by several persons with common intention) of the Indian Penal Code and related provisions. A case has been registered under Arms Act.
