Biden mocked for admitting 'we can't be trusted' in latest gaffe: 'Okay, Joe'

President Biden's latest gaffe has conservative commentators admitting they agree with him.

Biden spoke Tuesday at a campaign rally in Tampa focused on the state's six-week abortion ban, which is set to take effect May 1. During the rally, he made several references to former President Donald Trump as an opponent of women's abortion rights.

However, during his comments, Biden made what many considered an embarrassing mistake.

“I don't know why we're surprised by Trump. How many times does he have to prove that we can't be trusted?” » Biden said.

BIDEN ONCE TORED 'ANTISEMITE BILE' BUT NOW FACING HIS OWN 'CHARLOTTESVILLE MOMENT'

Audience members could be heard laughing after his comment, but Biden continued, not seeming to notice the mistake.

Several conservative social media users jumped on the quote, with many jokingly agreeing with Biden's comments that he can't be trusted.

“No satire,” Babylon Bee CEO Seth Dillon noted of the clip.

OutKick contributor Tomi Lahren said, “Well, even a blind squirrel finds a nut.”

“My God, that’s good,” Fox News contributor Guy Benson responded.

RedState columnist Buzz Patterson remarked, “If they tell you who they are, believe them. »

“You will see this again and again and again…” wrote GOP strategist Chris LaCivita.

“At this rate, the man is going to support Trump,” commented radio host Tony Kinnett.

Author Edward Dowd summed it up: “We currently have a perfect puppet in place of the president. He doesn't remember the lies he was told and most of his followers don't remember what they ate for lunch. Goldfish Memories…of course, don’t disrespect the goldfish.

“Okay, Joe, we can’t trust you!” GOP Rapid Response Director Jake Schneider responded.

JOURNALIST SOUNDS ALARM ON “TROUBLING FIGURES” FOR PRESIDENT BIDEN IN LATEST POLL: “CLEAR RESPONSIBILITY”

This is the third notable verbal misstep made by President Biden in the past week. On Monday, Biden came under attack for prevaricating on the ongoing anti-Israel protests taking place on college campuses across the country.

“I condemn the anti-Semitic protests. That's why I have a program in place to deal with them. I also condemn those who don't understand what's going on with the Palestinians,” Biden told reporters Monday.

Several commenters attacked this response, calling it Biden's “Charlottesville moment” in reference to the assertion that Trump's comments in Charlottesville indicated there were “very fine people, on both sides” of a rally far right.

On Thursday, Biden made a confusing statement urging people to “choose freedom over democracy.”

“Are you ready to choose unity over division? Dignity over demolition? Truth over lies? Are you ready to choose freedom over democracy? Because that's what America,” Biden said.
