JESSE WATTERS: Biden is the one having trouble keeping up and behind the scenes it's even worse than it seems. A bomb Wall Street Journal Report, 45 sources, Republican and Democratic, all people who have spent hours and hours inside, behind closed doors, with the president, say it is not the same person. His memory is slipping. He mumbles so much that the people sitting right next to him have trouble hearing him. He relies on his index cards to make obvious points, pauses for long periods of time, and sometimes closes his eyes so long that people in the room wonder if he has tuned out.
We couldn't be there without feeling uncomfortable, a source told the Journal. The president moved so slowly around the Cabinet Room that it sometimes took 10 minutes for a meeting to begin, and when that happened, Biden didn't even know what he was negotiating. Ancient Speaker Kevin McCarthy told the Journal that he keeps returning to old things and that he would be shocked when someone told him: No, Mr. President, we talked about it in meetings ago, we are done with it.
