Yodha Movie Review: After the web series Aiyaary, Sher Shah and Indian Police Force, once again actor Siddharth Malhotra is seen doing anything in uniform to save his country. Imbued with patriotic sentiments, this hijacked film initially seems to be a rote film based on the India-Pakistan rivalry formula, but a twist before the interval takes the story in a different direction, which adds to the excitement of the film. movie. So he goes on, but after that the story weakens again. Logic disappears, but the magic of cinema, in which everything seems fair, does not appear on the screen either. Overall this action thriller movie is average.

A story of a warrior who risked his life for his country
Following in the footsteps of his father Surendra Katyal (Ronit Roy), who died for the country, Arun Katyal (Siddharth Malhotra) joins the Yodha Task Force when he grows up to serve the country. That he is a brave officer is established in the very first scene of the film but soon the story turns to a plane hijacking in which Arun is unable to save the country's greatest scientist from terrorists, resulting in the formation of the Yodha Task Force. Arun loses a lot not only in his professional life but also in his personal life due to disintegration. The story moves forward a few years. Arun finds himself on a hijacked plane. The situation becomes such that not only the Indian government but also Arun's relatives start suspecting a conspiracy to abduct him. Is Arun as villainous as he seems or is there more to the story? This story follows.

Advantages and disadvantages of film
Yoddha's story was promoted based on kidnapping, but this is not a typical film based on that theme. There were many twists in the movie but they could not make the story effective. Although some of the twists are already known, this cannot be denied. The level of emotion in the film is very weak. Arun's struggles and troubles don't connect you with him. Which is the weakness of the writing. The action of the film has turned out well. The songs and music do justice to the theme of the film. Like the recent Agent films, this film also conveys a message of unity between India and Pakistan.

Siddharth's action avatar is captivating
Talking about the acting, Siddharth Malhotra has played his role with full enthusiasm. On screen he looks more attractive in uniform. He has left a mark in action scenes. Rashi Khanna has settled into her role. Interesting twists related to Disha's character add color to her performance. Sunny Hinduja is behaving like a villain, better expected from a capable actor like him. The rest of the actors acted according to the story.
