The TRP of the show is also very good and people love the new story of Abhira and Armaan. According to the story, Armaan and Ruhi love each other. In the latest episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Poddar stopped Manish from remarrying Ruhi so that she can live her life but now Dadisa has rescued Ruhi. He wipes off Ruhi's vermilion and frees her to live her life as she wishes. Armaan also asks him to move on in life. Ruhi is upset because she still loves Armaan and wants him in her life. Abhira also knows that Ruhi and Armaan love each other and she tells Armaan that he can go back to her when Ruhi leaves, but Armaan says that he can never be with his brother's wife. This hurts Ruhi and Manish already has a proposal for Ruhi. He wants Ruhi to marry his friend's son Manav.
