Monongahela Incline closed in Pittsburgh

Just three weeks after reopening, the Monongahela Incline is out of service once again. Pittsburgh Regional Transit said a brake resistor and the motor controller failed while the cars were docked at the stations Tuesday afternoon.The incline will be closed for the rest the week, PRT said. After repairs are made, a state inspection is needed before the incline can start running again.A shuttle bus is getting in place to take people between the stations.The incline had previously been out of service for five weeks for repairs.
