The creator of the Conjuring saga produces this series starring Yvonne Strahovski and Scott Speedman.

Two years later Archive 81, James Wan returns with a new horror series. The director of Saw and creator of the sagas Conjuring And Insidious product Teacupadaptation of the novel Stinger by Robert McCammon.

The story will follow a group of very different people living in the depths of the Georgia countryside who will have to unite to survive and face a mysterious threat… The trailer (below) promises an atmosphere as distressing as possible.

James Wan explains that after reading Robert McCammon's book, “The entire team at Atomic Monster felt a spark. The story had all the makings of a captivating series and Ian McCulloch was tasked with giving it a vision that was both surprising and dark, but filled with a rich sense of humanity. Prepare yourself for a truly breathtaking experience. Teacup will be a blend of horror, mystery and drama, conceived through a captivating puzzle. It goes beyond thrills and chills and the series aims to hold a mirror up to humanity, exploring the darkness that resides within each of us..”

The cast will include the former star of Chuck, Yvonne Strahovskifacing the actor of Grey's Anatomy Scott Speedman. Chaske Spencer, Kathy Baker, Boris McGiver, Caleb Dolden, Emilie Bierre and Luciano Leroux complete the cast.

Teacup will be broadcast from October 10th in streaming on the Peacock platform in the USA. No broadcaster in France yet.
