Jack Black did not go unnoticed last night, during the preview of Borderlandsby Eli Roth, in Hollywood. And not just because of his neon outfit!

This summer, upset after a joke from his stage partner Kyle Gass regarding the attempted assassination of Donald Trump, the comedian and musician canceled their band's tour, Tenacious D. A decision that shocked their fans, but Jack Black assures today that it is only a break, and that the duo will return soon to play metal at full blast…

“We need a break. Everyone needs a break sometimes. But we'll be back.”he swears on the red carpet of this adventure film based on the famous post-apocalyptic video game.

Jack Black announces sequel to Tenacious D: The Pick of Destiny

The journalist insists on knowing more, Black shows him the famous “Mediator of Destiny”which gives its title to the film Tenacious D released in theaters in 2006:

“Of course we're friends, that hasn't changed. But sometimes things take time… We'll be back when we feel like it's the right time. Look what I'm wearing today: it's The Pick of Destiny! I love Tenacious D. It's definitely my favorite job, if you can call it that. It's a work of art, it's my baby.”
