Impact weekend for off and on showers
The weekend will feature shower chances, but it won’t be a washout.

While both days are Impact Days, this weekend won’t be a washout. Showers will take a break later this morning. Some peeks of sun may even sneak in around mid-day. Temperatures won’t be as warm with highs in the upper 60s. The nuisance showers will return late this afternoon and continue at times through the night. Raindrops will still be falling as the runners line up for the marathon tomorrow morning. Another break looks to come shortly after the race begins. Sunday’s Impact Day will also carry the chance for afternoon storms. One or two of those storms could pack gusty to damaging winds. We’ll take a break from the rain to begin next week.
