The English actor and the American filmmaker have never worked together before.

The cult actor of Bridget Jones is set to join the new UFO feature film, currently known as The Dish. According to Deadline, he is currently in talks and it is unclear what his role would be. Let us recall that a third Englishman, Josh O'Connor (revealed in The Crown And Challengers) would also have been approached to be part of the adventure.

The fact remains that we still don't know anything about the next film by Steven Spielberg. Produced by Universal Pictures, The Dish (nothing says that this title will remain) would be an original story of UFOs and other flying saucers. The feature film is written by the screenwriter David Koepp (Jurassic Park and its sequel).

A release date has already been set for May 15, 2026.
