The Seeds of the Wild Fig Tree won the Special Jury Prize at Cannes.

If there was one moment that caught the attention of the 77th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, which took place last May, it was the screening of Seeds of the wild fig treein the absence of its main actors, Soheila Golestan and Missagh Zareh, who were held in Iran.
