Series Zorro begins September 6 on Paramount+, and will have 8 episodes with Jean Dujardin under the moustache (and mask) of Don Diego aka Zorro the vigilante. The new trailer helps to develop the context of the series: it is 1821, Diego has put away his mask for twenty years and is content to be the mayor of a small town called Los Angeles… But the city is sinking into vice and corruption, notably because of the actions of the horrible Don Emmanuel (Eric Elmosnino). Add to that marital problems with his wife Gabriella (Audrey Dana), more attracted to Zorro than to himself, and you have the cocktail of the series recreated in French by Benjamin Charbit and Noé Debré.
A slew of new photos from the series have also been kindly provided by Paramount+, allowing us to appreciate the work on the visual ambiance – and to have even more of Dujardin's moustache:
