The sequel to 3 Zeros arrives today in cinemas with, once again, the Parc des Princes as a backdrop.

Fabien Onteniente is a big PSG fan. A member of the Parc des Princes since he was very young, the 66-year-old director has a real love for the capital's club, which he also films through 4 Zeroshis new comedy which comes out this Wednesday in cinemas.

The continuation of 3 Zeros recounts the rise of Kidane, a young raw football talent that his agents (the trio Didier Bourdon, Gerard Lanvin, Isabelle Nanty) will try to break through at the highest level. Mamadou Haïdara19 years old (already crossed in Lupine where he plays the young version of the character played by Omar Sy) found himself in the corridors of the Park, one evening in February 2024.

Taking advantage of the 23rd day of Ligue 1, Fabien Onteniente was authorized to film the meeting between PSG and Rennes (1-1), to bring realism to his film with a capture part mixed with staged images. “We don't really run a stadium” laughs the director at our colleagues at Allociné. “We write and then we make a storyboard, which allows us to mix things that are filmed very well on television and things that I would like to film, that is to say on the ground.”

Mamadou Haïdara was thus able to set foot on the lawn of the Parc des Princes with the real players playing their match in the background. And that's not all since 4 Zeros is also the first feature film to have had access to the brand new PSG training center in Poissy (Yvelines), which succeeded the famous Camp des Loges (in Saint-Germain-en-Laye) which appeared at the time in 3 Zeros. The players have changed too, obviously. No more Ronaldinho or Pochettino, it is Marquinhos or Bradley Barcola who now act as guests in the feature film Fabien Onteniente.

“I have supported PSG since I was little, and there I played at the Parc des Princes and I trained with the PSG players. The best part was the training, that's what gave me the more touched because I was surrounded by the guys I support. At the Parc, I was filming alone, in itself, but the presence of the public was something crazy. remembers the young Mamadou Haïdarainterviewed by So Foot.

Before PSG, it was the Stade de Reims which signed Kidane in the first part of the film and this is also where the filmmaker's cameras were placed. Friend of President Jean-Pierre Caillot, Fabien Onteniente was able to film as he wanted, last April, in the structures of the Champagne club: “He told me that I was at home. From there, things were much simpler. And then in the Paris suburbs, I will never forget a gentleman called Belkebla, who is very established in Parisian football and which has found players and clubs from the region, Paris 13 Atletico in particular, whose real infrastructures we can see” concludes the director to Allociné.

The fact remains that only one thing was not possible: the director wanted to include a little dog named “Remontada” in the film, in reference to the famous defeat of Paris against Barcelona (1-6) in 2017. But PSG vetoed it. The only condition for being able to film the Capital club from all angles.
