FROM PLAYERS, PARENTS AND FANS TONIGHT. WESTINGHOUSE PROVING THEIR VICTORY TONIGHT. 68 TO NOTHING. AND THEY DID SO WITH JUST 11 PLAYERS. YEP 11. NOW THIS COMES AFTER MULTIPLE MEMBERS OF THE TEAM WERE SUSPENDED FOR AN ON THE FIELD ALTERCATION THAT HAPPENED LAST WEEK. IT WAS LAST WEEK THAT PITTSBURGH PUBLIC SCHOOLS ANNOUNCED THE PIAA RULED SEVERAL PLAYERS ON THE WESTINGHOUSE TEAM WERE SUSPENDED FOR ONE GAME AFTER LEAVING THE BENCH DURING A GAME INCIDENT. DURING A GAME AGAINST USO. WHAT HAPPENED LAST WEEK? YOU KNOW, IT WAS JUST A IT WAS JUST AN ALL OUT BRAWL. YOU KNOW, IT WAS IT WAS SOMETHING WE DIDN’T WANT TO DO. BUT IT’S SOMETHING THAT HAPPENED. THE STATEMENT CONTINUED TO SAY THE BULLDOGS WOULD PLAY WITH A SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCED ROSTER, LIMITED TO PLAYERS NOT INVOLVED IN THE FIGHT. THAT BROUGHT THE ROSTER DOWN TO JUST 11 PLAYERS. WELL, I WAS A BIT SAD AND ESPECIALLY WITH FINDING OUT HOW MANY OF THE TEAM HAS BEEN SUSPENDED AND EVERYONE FROM PARENTS, PLAYERS AND EVEN ALUMNI ARE NOT HAPPY WITH THAT DECISION. I’M VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THAT. I FEEL LIKE THEY WERE ROBBED. THE PUNISHMENT WAS NOT CHESS. IT HURT US, BUT IT HELPED US TOO. PITTSBURGH PUBLIC SCHOOLS ALSO ANNOUNCING THAT TEN USO PLAYERS WOULD BE SUSPENDED, BUT WESTINGHOUSE SAYS THE SEVERITY OF THE PUNISHMENT WAS NOT FAIR. I FEEL LIKE IT WAS POINTLESS BECAUSE THAT TEAM IS STILL FIGHTING DOWN, SO SOMETIMES THE INNER THE URBAN AREAS, THE INNER CITY, YOU GET POUNCED ON A LITTLE BIT HARDE
