AT 647, AS YOU GET READY TO STEP OUT THE DOOR THIS MORNING, BUNDLE UP. IT IS A FROSTY COLD START. WE NEED THE COATS, HATS AND GLOVES. 34 DEGREES RIGHT NOW IN PITTSBURGH, 33 AS YOU WAKE UP IN UNIONTOWN, 31 IN BUTLER AND KITTANNING AND WASHINGTON, WAKING UP AT 28. BEAUTIFUL SHOT HERE OF OUR CITY. WE HAVE A FEW HIGH CLOUDS AROUND AND THAT WILL BE THE TREND THROUGHOUT THE DAY. BUT AS YOU SEND THE KIDS OUT TO THE BUS STOP, THEY REALLY NEED TO BUNDLE UP AGAIN. OUR TEMPERATURES UPPER 20S, LOW TO MID 30S, AND BY THE TIME THEY HEAD HOME, TEMPERATURES WILL BE INTO THE MID 60S. WE’LL STILL HAVE A FEW CLOUDS, BUT EXPECTING TO SEE SOME OF THAT SUNSHINE. ALL IN ALL, VERY NICE DAY FOR THE KIDS. LOOKING AT OUR RAIN POTENTIAL, A SPRINKLE OR TWO CAN’T BE RULED OUT AS WE HEAD INTO TOMORROW. WARM FRONT IS LIFTING IN, BUT ALL EYES ARE ON THURSDAY, WHICH IS HALLOWEEN. WE’VE ALREADY MADE IT AN IMPACT DAY. RIGHT NOW, THE TIMING OF THIS FRONT TO BRING THE RAIN LOOKS TO BE AS WE GET CLOSER TOWARDS THE TAIL END OF TRICK OR TREATING, AROUND 730 8:00 AND INTO OUR EARLY FRIDAY. BUT OVERALL, THE TIMING OF THIS STILL COULD CHANGE A LITTLE BIT AS THAT FRONT IS STILL WELL WEST OF US. SO OVERALL RELATIVELY QUIET FOR US TONIGHT. AGAIN, A SPRINKLE OR TWO TOMORROW, THEN WE WILL HAVE FAIR SKIES AS WE HEAD INTO TUESDAY EVENING WITH ANOTHER ROUND OF SUNSHINE ON WEDNESDAY. BUT THIS IS WHAT WE’LL BE WATCHING BY THURSDAY. EARLY MORNING WILL JUST BE A LITTLE WEST OF CHICAGO. SO ALL IN ALL, MAYBE A BIT OF A SOGGY HALLOWEEN FOR US WILL BE FINE TUNING THE TIMING OF THAT FRONT. Crisp and cold to start Monday, but warming up into the mid 60s. Dry with a few clouds for the Steelers game Monday night. All in all, a nice day.Clouds will increase ahead of a warm front that will lift in on Tuesday. A sprinkle can’t be ruled out, but there will mainly be just some clouds.Temperatures climb back into the mid-to-upper 70s by the middle of the week.A cold front could impact trick-or-treaters Thursday evening. While the timing of the rain is still up in the air, we have made Thursday an impact day and the latest models are showing an arrival of 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
