The official synopsis reads: “The Hargreeves siblings have been scattered after the final showdown at Hotel Oblivion, which resulted in a complete reset of their timeline. Stripped of their powers, they must fend for themselves and find a new normal, with varying degrees of success. However, the peculiarities of this strange new world are hard to ignore for long. Their father Reginald is alive and well, and has come into the public eye, overseeing a powerful and nefarious business empire. A mysterious group known as the Guardians holds clandestine meetings, convinced that the reality they live in is a lie and that the truth will soon be revealed. As these new forces conspire around them, the Umbrella Academy must come together one last time—and risk upsetting the uneasy peace they have worked so hard to establish—to finally set things right.
