MONDAY 12/9/24 UPDATE:The Washington County coroner has released a report to Pittsburgh’s Action News 4, saying a second person died in this crash.The driver of the vehicle who was found dead on Sunday has been identified as Brittany Therese Crile, 36, of Waynesburg.The coroner said she was ejected from the vehicle.Also killed was Joseph Crile, 46, of Marianna.He was found dead in an empty house near the crash scene on Sunday afternoon. The Washington County coroner’s office released a statement on the incident, saying it is unclear if the crash occurred Sunday morning or Saturday night. The release said the victim, who has not been identified, was ejected from the vehicle. Officials said the road remains closed as of 3 p.m. Sunday as crews work to extract the vehicle.
