Swift endorsed Kamala Harris for president just minutes after the Democratic nominee was nominated presidential debate against his Republican opponent, Donald Trump.
In writing on InstagramThe pop star said she would vote for Harris because “she fights for rights and causes that I think need a warrior to defend.”

Trump joked during his call to “Fox & Friends” that he “really likes”[s] “Mrs. Mahomes is doing much better,” refers to Brittany Mahomes, wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
“She's a big Trump fan,” Trump said.
Mahomes first showed her support for Trump on August 13, when she liked Trump's Instagram post that outlined the “2024 Republican Agenda.” The swimsuit model then appeared to respond to the criticism on her Instagram Stories.

“I mean honestly, to be a hater as an adult, you have to have deep-rooted issues that you refuse to heal since childhood,” she wrote on Instagram Stories after receiving criticism for her support. “There’s no reason to have a fully developed brain and hate seeing others succeed.”
Swift was with Travis Kelce and the Mahomes family at Flushing Meadows to watch the U.S. Open. Swift and Brittany Mahomes were photographed lovingly kissing.
