Trump, once a fierce critic of digital assets, has now emerged as a supporter of them, promising to turn the US into a global cryptocurrency powerhouse.
Trump's embrace of crypto is more than just policy. He will be the first US president to hold a meme coin, a unique change from his already unconventional political legacy.
Trump Crypto Wallet Revealed
According to data from Arkham Intelligence, Trump's cryptocurrency holdings are estimated to be worth more than $15 million, with most of it allocated to meme coins. The portfolio also includes leading digital assets such as Ethereum (ETH), Binance Coin (BNB), Polygon (MATIC), and stablecoins such as USDC and USDT. At its peak, the value of his crypto holdings was $26 million but fell to $15 million due to the recent market correction.
Trump has also made major investments in crypto through his digital currency project, WLFI, which has cemented his position as a major player in the industry.
Amazingly, more than 70% of Trump's portfolio consists of meme coins, including tokens bearing his name, such as TRUMP, STRUMP, MAGA, and TRUMP INU. Although Trump has no direct connection to these tokens, his association has driven demand and increased their value among investors.
The largest holding in Trump's wallet is a frog-themed meme coin called TROG, with 210.345 billion tokens worth $9 million. The second largest asset is the TRUMP token, with 579,290 units worth about $1.7 million.
Notably, Trump's portfolio does not include Bitcoin, a fact that has raised curiosity and concern among his supporters. So far, he has remained silent about why the world's most prominent cryptocurrency is not in his possession.
Trump's evolving relationship with cryptocurrencies and his significant investments in meme coins have sparked a mix of excitement and intrigue, positioning him as a unique figure at the intersection of politics and digital finance.
