The American star jumped from the roof of the Stade de France to retrieve the Olympic flag and deliver it to the city of Los Angeles in preparation for the 2028 Olympic Games.

There were a plethora of stars in the Stade de France this Sunday evening to celebrate the closing of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. But the most superstar of them all was right there on the roof!

Shortly after 11 p.m., Tom Cruise appeared at the top of the Parisian building, to play the ambassadors of the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games. Replaying its finest hours of Mission: Impossiblethe actor of Top Gun did not hesitate to launch into a deadly stunt live, throwing himself from the roof of the Stade de France, hanging from a cable, to land right in the middle of the astonished medal-winning athletes.

With his wide smile so emblematic, Tom Cruise then sped off on a motorbike – way M:I 2 – in the heart of the stadium and then the streets of Paris, before making another leap into the void, this time, by parachute, from a cargo ship flying over California! Sprinting in the mountains of Los Angeles, he then hung Olympic rings on the famous Hollywood letters overlooking the City of Angels.

There is no doubt after this: if Paris has bet on its monuments, Los Angeles will bet on its stars! The next Olympic Games should have a very strong Hollywood flavor.
