Thousands of bricks of heroin were found in Pittsburgh Wednesday afternoon, according to Pittsburgh Public Safety.Police were called to Glenrose Street after a person found a suitcase which appeared to be filled with narcotics.When detectives and patrol officers arrived, they determined the suitcase contained bricks of heroin. Near the suitcase, authorities say they found a backpack which also appeared to have heroin in similar packaging. Units were called in to process the evidence, which later tallied to be 4,688 bricks of heroin. An investigation on where the heroin came from and how it ended up in the area is still being investigated.
