On the occasion of the end of year celebrations, The Simpsons go into mode Ho Ho Ho ! Homer, in particular, will pretend to be Santa Claus (with Ralph as Elf) in a special called “O C'mon All Ye Faithful”, which will be a double episode specially designed for Disney Plus. The two episodes will be posted online on Tuesday, December 17.
In the trailer (below), we see Springfield celebrating the holidays. But after being hypnotized, Homer believes he is Santa Claus. The famous British mentalist, Derren Brown – kind of English Mesmer – will be the guest star of this special. “Using psychological tricks and showmanship, he will raise the town's Christmas spirit.” promises the official synopsis. “But when Homer is hypnotized and mistakenly believes he is Santa Claus, it sets off a joyful chain reaction“. The singer Patti LaBelle will be the other guest star.
