Patrick Gibson will reprise the iconic role of Michael C Hall this winter.

Patrick Gibson (Shadow and Bone) takes over from Michael C Hall in the trailer for the new series (see below).
This trailer of Dexter: Original Sin gives pride of place to the entourage of the budding serial killer. We see Christian Slater in the shoes of his adoptive father, Harry, but also Patrick Dempsey unrecognizable as Captain Aaron Spencer. James Martinez will take on the role of Angel Batista, Christina Milian who will be the young Maria LaGuerta or Sarah Michelle Gellar in the job of Tanya Martin, the head of Miami police experts.
By the way, we are told that Dexter: Original Sin – in 10 episodes – will be broadcast from Friday, December 13 on Paramount+, which will also broadcast the series in France.
The synopsis: “Dexter Morgan in his early twenties as he begins his transition into the vengeful serial killer he eventually becomes… Set in serial killer-ravaged Miami in the 1980s, Dexter: Origins will begin as Dexter has just graduated from college and is about to join the Miami PD. There, he'll meet younger versions of many of the characters we met in the original Dexter. And, of course, the show will also focus on Dexter's family, including a very much alive Harry and a formidable teenage girl named Deb…”
Clyde Phillipsthe historic showrunner of Dexter, will be back at the helm.
