Première recommends this great fun with Jennifer Aniston, Jason Sudeikis, Will Poulter and Emma Roberts, but also Tomer Sisley as the bad guy. Watch it again tonight on 6ter.
In 2013, Jennifer Aniston joined Jason Sudeikishis partner in How to Kill Your Boss? In We're the Millers. A new adult comedy that pushed the sliders of the big anything goes. During a scene, teased from the trailer, Jen confuses a skateboard with a big d*** in Pictionary, and a few shots later, she has to prove to Tomer Sisleythe actor who plays the film's big baddie, that she's a striptease pro.
In front of the camera of Rawson Thurber (Dodgeball), Aniston therefore plays in The Millers, a budding family (tonight on 6ter) a particularly sexy dancer who is hired by a conman (Sudeikis) to play his wife. The latter's goal is to create a perfect family, in order to cross the border and transport drugs between Mexico and the United States on the sly, pretending to be vacationers. Not everything goes as planned, far from it. Already, the Marijuana he is supposed to bring back is rather cumbersome: he ends up with 600 kilos of drugs on his hands…
When it came out, Première had a great time watching this American comedy, perhaps not as cult as Brothers in spite of themselves Or 21 Jump Streetbut still very successful. Here is our review:
There's no secret, a good comedy starts with a good pitch, and the Millers' pitch… has something irresistible. An immediate and obvious concept that opens Rawson Marshall Thurber (DodgeBall) a highway allowing him to chain together improbable situations. The extreme gags are there, but it is in his less “disheveled” that the film makes the difference. During these breaths that give the characters the possibility of going beyond the archetypes to become truly endearing or thanks to these particularly badly brought up dialogues that the four actors delight in. Jason Sudeikis first, perfect as the head of a (de)composed family in this comedy… astonishing.
