The director of Wonka and Paddington will tackle Prince Charming

Paul King will adapt the Disney hero into a live-action film.

He keeps his nose in the tales. Paul Kingwho has just signed the magical Wonka after directing the first two films Paddingtonhas found his new project: it will be a live-action film about the Prince Charming.

The English filmmaker is expected to co-write the project alongside Simon Farnaby and Jon Croker.

What will it be about?

Currently, we know nothing about it. We just know that the Prince Charming will be the central character of this new film produced by Disney, but that the story will in no way be linked to Cinderella. So which version of Prince Charming will we see?

We will recall that James Marsden had already played Charming, in live action, in the two films Once upon a time of Disney opposite Amy Adams.

For now, the cast of the film Paul King is not yet revealed.
