As President-elect Donald Trump prepares to return to office, many Democratic leaders are vowing to resist the new administration's immigration plans.
While some leaders, including New York City Mayor Eric Adams, have changed their attitudes toward Trump's upcoming agenda, Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick has sent a warning to other city leaders blue and state.
“All the blue state governors and mayors doing this: You better get your act together, Buttercup. I don't care if you're a man or a woman. We mean business in Texas, and Tom Homan wants “meaning business and President Trump means business,” Patrick said Thursday on “The Ingraham Angle.”

Although a number of Democratic leaders have pledged to resist Trump's immigration agenda, major party names including Illinois Governor JB Pritzker and New York Mayor Eric Adams have seemed to change his mind about the president-elect's plans.
Adams revealed he has the “same goal” as Trump when it comes to illegal immigration.
“His goal is the same as me,” Adams said. “We cannot allow dangerous individuals to commit violent and repeated acts of violence in our cities across America. This cannot be a safe haven for violent individuals. You have the right, a privilege, to live in this country, and those who wish to do so commit acts of violence – they are violating that privilege.
Pritzker said he agreed with part of the historic mass deportation campaign led by “border czar” Tom Homan as part of the new Trump administration.
“Violent criminals who are undocumented and convicted of violent crimes should be deported,” Pritzker said at a news conference, FOX 32 Chicago reported. “I don’t want them in my state, I don’t think they should be in the United States.”
Despite Pritzker and Adams' comments, a slew of Democratic lawmakers and officials across the country have vowed to either not cooperate with the new Trump administration's plans for mass deportations or resist them altogether.

Denver Mayor Mike Johnston said in November that he was willing to go to prison for opposing evictions.
Homan replied to the statement saying he was ready to imprison him, noting the same statutes he highlighted when speaking to “Hannity.”
“I am absolutely disgusted by every act of this administration and by every act of every Democrat in every blue state and every blue city,” Patrick said, saying blue leaders are “undermining the will of the people” and “putting their people in hazard”. path.”

Patrick also torched the Biden administration and President Biden's “legacy.”
“He's letting his son escape. He's letting all these criminals escape. He's doing everything he can with these blue state governors and mayors to destroy this country. They're traitors to this country, letting the terrorists, letting the murderers, leaving rapists in this country and now he wants to sabotage this president before he goes away, it's shameful and disgusting,” he said.
“[Biden] will be considered the worst and most despicable president in the history of this country because no one has done more to harm this country and hurt American citizens. »
