Supacell: Season 2 officially ordered by Netflix

The English superhero series already has its battle plan.

Surprise summer hit on Netflix, still in the platform's Top 10 6 weeks after its release, Supacell has just been renewed by the streaming network.

This season 2 of Supacell might not be the last one : “I'm already thinking about season 3” recently confided the creator, Rapman. “I know how Season 2 ends. I have things planned for that story. I've had this in mind for years, so I'm ready to go.”

As for the evolution of the characters, he explains that season 1 of Supacell is his “Batman Begins. It's a prequel. Season 2 is where you really see what they become. That future that you saw at the end of the pilot in London, that exact future doesn't exist anymore. They've changed everything. It'll be interesting to write that…”
