Starfleet Academy: the new Star Trek series has started filming

Back to school. It's back to school time, and not just for you, but for the students of the Federation as well. Filming the series Star Trek: Starfleet Academy has begun, as revealed in this post by Paramount+, with behind-the-scenes photos.

We can see the two stars of the show: Holly Hunter And Paul Giamattiwho will play the boss of the school in question and the big bad guy of the story.

Students include Sandro Rosta, Kerrice Brooks, Bella Shepard, George Hawkins, Karim Diané, and Zoë Steiner.

Starfleet Academy will air next year on Paramount+.

We will follow a group of “young cadets who come together to pursue a shared dream of hope and optimism. Under the watchful and demanding eyes of their instructors, they discover what it takes to become Starfleet officers as they navigate budding friendships, explosive rivalries, first loves, and a new enemy that threatens both the Academy and the Federation itself..”
