Squid Game: the date of season 3 would have leaked

Release in less than six months?

Only 7 episodes… Season 2 of Squid Game was quickly devoured by Netflix subscribers, who are now waiting for the sequel and the end.

The creator and director, Hwang Dong-hyukhas in fact imagined the series as a trilogy. And season 3 could well arrive sooner than we think.

Netflix had announced a release in 2025 on the official poster. But these days, a promotional video briefly uploaded on South Korea's Netflix YouTube channel outright mentioned a release date of June 27, 2025!

A blunder, obviously, since the video was quickly deleted. But too late, the Internet saw everything and the rumor spread like wildfire.

SO Squid Game 3 will it be released on June 27? Or is this a tentative date subject to change?

For the moment, nothing has been made official yet, but we can already say that a release in less than six months is not impossible, because this season 3 has already been filmed. It is in fact the second part of season 2, cut into two parts.
