BERO has just been released commercially. “I wanted to create something that reflected my lifestyle and my values,” says the Spider-Man star.
The current interpreter of Spider-Man launches into non-alcoholic beer. Tom Holland has been sober for two years and has just launched BERO, a new brand available online, which echoes the actor's personal journey. In a press release, he details:
“For me, BERO is personal. After two years of sobriety journey, I wanted to create something that reflects my lifestyle and values. This beer is not just for those on a similar path, but for everyone those who appreciate quality, craftsmanship and living life to the fullest.”
Tom Holland recounted – in Jay Shetty's podcast – having given up alcohol on a whim, after a “dry January”, experiencing it as a personal detoxification treatment: “All I could think about during that sober month was having a drink. That's all I was thinking about. I would wake up thinking about this and look at the clock and ask myself: When is it midnight? It really scared me…“
After that, Tom Holland decided to stop drinking at all and is therefore launching his own brand of alcohol-free beer. It will still cost $30 for a pack of 12.
