Almost three years after the shock Severancethe series of Ben Stiller will finally make its return and season 2 promises to be even more elusive than the first. The official trailer unveiled by Apple this weekend reveals a broad overview of what awaits the employees of Lumon Industries, who rebelled at the time.

Obviously, their alarm signal was recognized and they even made the front page of the local press, causing an uproar internally, for a “reform” by Lumon Industries. But is all this even true? Mark Scout will try to find answers, in particular to understand why his deceased wife works at Lumon, while his love affair with Helly (Britt Lower) will be more concrete… “But what is the point of all this? ” chokes Mark, who doesn't seem any further ahead…

The official synopsis details: “In SeveranceMark Scout works for Lumon Industries, where he leads a team whose employees undergo surgical separation between their memories related to their professional lives and those related to their private lives. This risky experiment in work-life balance is challenged when Mark finds himself at the heart of a mystery that will force him to confront the true nature of his job…and his own. In this second season, Mark and his team learn the hard way that you don't joke with the boundaries of dissociation.

The second season of Severance is made up of 10 episodes. The first two episodes will be available on Friday January 17, 2025, followed by a new episode every Friday until March 21.
