The mushrooms will be out in spring. Season 2 of The Last of Us is announced today for the month of April 2025. The exact date remains to be determined, but during Sony's press conference at the Consumer Electronics Show, the co-creator Neil Druckman revealed that this season 2 will have 7 episodes, which will be available to watch from next April on HBO and on Max in France.
Incidentally, the production unveiled a first trailer which reveals new, previously unseen images, notably showing Joel and Ellie's camp in panic. An invasion in sight?
According to the official synopsis, season 2 will begin with a time jump: “Five years after the events of the first season, Joel and Ellie find themselves in conflict with each other and in a world even more dangerous and unpredictable than the one they left behind.”
Pedro Pascal And Bella Ramsey will be back in the cast, surrounded by Gabriel Luna And Rutina Wesley. We'll see it happen Kaitlyn Dever as Abby, Isabela Merced as Dina, Young Mazino as Jesse, Ariela Barer as Mel, Tati Gabrielle as Nora, Spencer Lord as Owen, Danny Ramirez as Manny and Jeffrey Wright as Isaac. Catherine O'Hara will also be part of the guest star cast.
