Rorschach leads the investigation in the trailer for the animated film Watchmen

Warner Bros. unveils the trailer for Chapter 1 of this new adaptation of Alan Moore's work.

The Comedian was killed, thrown from the top of his apartment in New York. Rorschach leads the investigation. No doubt, we are in Watchmen. Alan Moore's work will come to life in an animated version in this great film in two chapters, produced by Warner Bros., whose trailer we discover today (see below).

The video also shows the birth of Doctor Manhattan and his omnipotence.

Based on the 12-volume series by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons, Watchmen is set in an alternate history 1985, at the height of the Cold War. “A group of mostly retired superheroes investigate the murder of one of their own. Along the way, they uncover an elaborate and deadly conspiracy that challenges their moral boundaries due to the complex nature of the circumstances.”

Watchmen will not be released in theaters, but will be available for purchase digitally, Warner Bros. announced. Chapter 1 will be online on August 13th. The Chapter 2 in 2025.
