“I don’t see myself the way others see me...” Robbie Williams will tell his life, his journey, his destiny, but in a “unusual“, as he confides in the new trailer for Better Man. The biopic on the life of the British singer will show Robbie Williams in the guise of a monkey, uncomfortable in his skin, who has always been afraid of not being “someone“, faced with his father's fascination with pop stars… until the day he is cast to join Take That.
The synopsis details: “In the north of England, young Robbie grew up fascinated by his father's dreams of glory, who soon left home to pursue his passion. Carried by the love of his grandmother, it is Robbie who will become a true showman and a world star. Now an international icon, he will have to face the challenges that success, fame and life itself have in store for him. Under the direction of visionary director Michael Gracey (The Greatest Showman), this fast-paced film inspired by the life of pop legend Robbie Williams plunges us into a poignant and universal quest for identity: one where the gaze of others , romantic, family and friendly ties shape the human being we become. An exciting journey on the road to success, self-discovery and true happiness.”
