Rick and Morty: the series will continue (at least) until 2029!

Season 8 reveals its first minutes, before its broadcast in 2025.

They never run out of ideas! The creators of Rick and Morty always manage to surprise us, the proof with this first preview of season 8, which has just been revealed by Adult Swim and reveals a piece of an episode currently being animated. We see there Rick and Morty board a ship full of passengers in stasis, who have left their planet after having exhausted its resources. Of course Rick wants to loot them while they sleep. But Morty has scruples…

A fun video, which teases the return of the 2025 series (on Max in France). And which also makes it possible to announce in passing the renewal of Rick and Morty for two more seasons. The SF cartoon is now signed until seasons 11 and 12. This means that the series will continue at least until 2029!

The announcement took place during New York Comic Con: “Nobody wants a universe without Rick and Morty” smiles series co-creator Dan Harmon. “Fortunately, the list of places to go remains endless.”

Let us remember that Rick and Morty had already been treated to a Japanese anime adaptation, launched this summer on Max in France.
