Walters writes: “While this may provide some answers, we acknowledge the gravity of the situation and the fear it may have caused.”The letter continues to address the concern over the crisis response and communication following the incident:”Please know that every report of a potential threat is taken with the utmost seriousness, and we will continue to act swiftly to protect our students, staff, and families.”The school states they are committed to improving safety measure. School cameras are being reviewed, as are the placement of those cameras. “While the outcome of the investigation did not confirm the initial reports, we believe that the steps taken were necessary given the circumstances,” Walters writes. “We regret any distress this incident may have caused and remain dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of safety in our schools. We hope this conclusion brings some closure and reassurance.”
