“James Bond Girl” from “Die Another Day” in 2002, the American star is full of praise for her British colleague, who has literally “restored (her) faith in men!”

As she continues to play the spy, 20 years later, in The Union (on Netflix) Halle Berry remembers the time when she wandered around with the most famous of them all: 007!

In fact, in 2002, she gave the reply to Pierce Brosnan in the James Bond movie titled Die another day. She played Jinx, a James Bond Girl tenacious and efficient. During a video interview with Wired, she talks about how the English actor, 13 years her senior, was a “gentleman” throughout the filming. She pays tribute to him:

“He will always be my James Bond, always! I am a Pierce Brosnan fan. He restored my faith in men with this film. There is no human being more of a gentleman than Pierce Brosnan!”

This should please the British actor, who then passed the torch to Daniel Craig.

Halle Berry clarifies in the process that she had never particularly dreamed of playing 007: “Bond wasn't on my bucket list, no, even though I've always loved those movies. After being in a James Bond movie, I feel like I'm part of cinema history. They're all iconic movies. They'll forever be part of our history, and I'm really honored to have been a part of one of them, especially with Pierce.”
