What is “messy”?
During the show “Jeopardy!” Wednesday evening. episode, fans of the game show called out host Ken Jennings for a questionable decision.
While one contestant named Rishabh was determined to continue his winning streak, other “Jeopardy!” the players put up a good fight during this intense game show.
As the episode ended with the “Final Jeopardy!” In the round, players were faced with the “University Cities” category.

Jennings read the prompt: “Two schools in the Southeastern Conference are located in cities with the same name but in different states.”
Rishabh, an Illinois native and currently a sophomore at the University of Pennsylvania, played against environmental attorney Jay Eversman and associate professor Rachel Cassidy.
Two contestants, Rishabh and Rachel, both correctly answered: “What is Columbia?” While Rishabh staked $9,801, he took home $20,201 for his victory in two days.
However, fans of the game show were quick to denounce Jennings' decision and argued that the winner's answer was “totally unreadable.”
Rishabh's written response to “Columbia” appeared to some as a mere jumble of letters. The original response he wrote down was also scribbled out.
Meanwhile, Rachel's response to “Columbia” was easier to read on screen.

“I can read maybe 2 of these letters from Ken Jennings. This poor lady got ROBED!” »wrote a viewer on X, formerly Twitter.
“Man, I just don't know if it says 'Columbia'. I guess if it's good enough for Ken,” read one comment on Reddit.
Another fan wrote: “My decision was that his response was unreadable. Apparently my decisions have very little influence.”
“It's spelled 'Cdumlaq,'” one viewer said.
“I think the fact that he said 'I wrote to Columbia' before the answer was revealed honestly affected Ken's decision. Because once he said that, you could sort of “I don't know if that would have mattered,” one comment read.
“Yeah, that’s a bit of a crazy call…just my opinion!” one viewer agreed.

Passionate “Jeopardy!” fans also suggested that the game show should have keyboards instead of having players write down the answers.
“It’s past time for candidates to have a keyboard for FJ.”
Meanwhile, “Jeopardy!” » responses have already sparked heated debates with viewers.
Recently, a decision angered viewers due to mispronunciation of an answer.
Mark Fitzpatrick, a “Jeopardy!” » five-day champion, chose the $800 clue in the “Just Doin' My Job” category.
The prompt read: “Knows the proper use of propofol; can count to 16 (letters in work); can tell people to count down from 100.”
While Jennings searched for the correct answer, “anaesthetist”, contestant Eamonn Campbell appeared to have the wrong pronunciation of the word.
“Anatesiologist?” Campbell replied.
Although Jennings gave the contestant another chance, he continued to stumble over the correct pronunciation of the word.
“Anathesiologist?” he mispronounced it again.
Another “Danger!” » The candidate, Dot White, came up with the correct pronunciation of the word and replied: “'What is an anesthesiologist?' “. Jennings then accepted the correct answer.
Fans were quick to react to the questionable decision of the difficult prompt.
“Jeopardy and Ken Jennings blow it up again…by making Eamonn out of his 'anesthesiologist' answer…amazing!!” a comment read.
