Peacemaker: finally a first image for season 2

James Gunn finally shows a glimpse of the sequel.

“But who is it?” James Gunn tease fans by revealing today this very first photo from season 2 of Peacemakerawaited for two years. We see a mystery character from behind, visibly a Native (an American Indian). So who will be able to guess his identity?

The boss of DC Studios wrote the eight episodes of season 2 of Peacemaker and achieved some of them, including the one that will put Frank Grilloformer Brock Rumlow from the MCU, as Rick Flag Sr., father of the late Rick Flag Jr. from the films Suicide Squad (who was played by Joel Kinnaman). Greg Mottola (Superbad, The Daytrippers) directed at least episodes 2 and 3.

In addition to Grillo, we will also see the casting David Denman (The Office) in an unknown role and Sol Rodríguez (Star Trek: Picard) as Sasha Bordeaux (an ally of Batman in the DC comics).

Season 2 of Peacemaker does not yet have a release date.

We still know that it will be released before the spin-off series on Amanda Wallerstill in active development and after the film Superman in the cinema (i.e. after July 11, 2025). Until then, we will see the animated series Creature Commandoswhich will be the very first of the new DCUniverse. It is scheduled for December 5 on Max in France.
