Tewfik Jallab tells us about the eventful filming of the Canal + series, which caused him some injuries…

It's an action series that hits where it hurts! Paris has Fallen unfolds its terrorist plot in the French capital at a breakneck pace. And to follow, Tewfik Jallab must have displayed optimal form worthy of Tom Cruise.

The actor admits to us doing “naturally a lot of sport and martial arts in my daily life. And then I had already had the opportunity to familiarize myself with combat choreography and the handling of weapons during Black Hearts or Pax Massilia.”

But for Paris has Fallenhe pushed the cursor a little further: “I did all the stunts myself, without a stunt double” confides Tewfik Jallab at Première. “It's extraordinary to experience.” He then says he “worked a lot” to prepare in advance for the series' many action sequences. And also having agreed to get hurt:

“There were a lot of injuries on arrival (laughs). I had a few sprains, I split my shin, moved my collarbone, broke a tooth… Nice little things (laughs). is a gamble when you do everything alone you know you're going to get hurt, so when you agree to do your stunts, you have to take responsibility!”

Fortunately, Tewfik Jallab was particularly well surrounded since Jason Oettleone of Hollywood's leading action figures, oversaw the stunts of Paris has Fallen : “I had a very experienced stunt supervisor to accompany me. Jason worked on The Batman, Inception and James Bond. So suffice to say that I felt in good hands.”

The result is spectacular and has delighted Canal + subscribers, since Paris has Fallen offers the 3rd best historical start in views on MyCanal for an original creation. Episode 3 will be broadcast this Monday, September 30. But be careful, there is only one episode per week from now on, on Monday evening…
