The opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympics in Paris has sparked international outrage with drag-themed images of religious and historical figures.

Among the list of countries participating in the Olympics, several performances were inspired by French history and culture, such as Marie Antoinette, the last queen before her execution during the French Revolution, who sang headless, her severed head in her hands and wore drag makeup. This performance was among the many drag queens that seemed to be a recurring theme throughout the ceremonies. Three drag queens were among the 10,000 torchbearers who relayed the Olympic flame as it traveled from Greece through French territories and headed to Paris.

A new exhibit on Friday featured what appeared to be a slew of performers, including drag queens and a tall woman wearing a haloed crown, parodying “The Last Supper,” a universally recognizable painting by Renaissance artist Leonardo da Vinci depicting Christ and his apostles.

Many internationally renowned political figures, especially from the American political world, condemned the exhibition, considering it a sign of the cultural rot of Western civilization.

“Men wearing wigs are at the forefront of the Olympics,” OutKick’s Riley Gaines wrote in a social media post. “No one will ever again tell me this group is ‘oppressed’ or ‘marginalized.’”

Tesla founder Elon Musk, who bought the X platform, criticized the display, saying: “It was extremely disrespectful to Christians.”

Harrison Butker, an American football player who made headlines for his speech on the Catholic faith, quoted Scripture to condemn the protest: “Do not be deceived; God is not mocked. Whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. He who sows to the flesh will of the flesh also reap corruption; but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap eternal life.” Galatians 6:7-8.

Former transgender influencer Oli London described the scene as: “The Olympics openly mock Jesus' Last Supper, as drag queens dressed as women play the role of disciples while a plus-size woman appears in the middle, symbolizing Jesus wearing a giant crown.”

“The Olympics have turned into one long drag show,” wrote TikTok anti-woke culture commentator Libs. “The Olympics have gone completely woke.”

SUPREME COURT RULES DESANTIS IN LEGAL BATTLE OVER DRAG QUEEN BAN

“What the hell is going on at the Olympics?” wrote video journalist Nick Sortor. “No wonder no one bothers to watch this anymore.”

“The transnational left has contempt for Western civilization,” writes Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.

“This is crazy. Opening your event by replacing Jesus and the disciples at the Last Supper with men in drag,” radio host Clint Russell said. “There are 2.4 billion Christians on earth and apparently the Olympics wanted to make it clear to all of them, right from the start, that they are NOT WELCOME.”

Canadian conservative commentator Harrison Faulkner asked: “What happens at the opening ceremony of the Olympics?”

Juanita Broaddrick, the former nursing administrator who accused former President Bill Clinton of raping her, responded to the Olympic display: “Paris fell before the Olympics. This is just a continuation of that.”

According to financial and cultural commentator Wall Street Silver, this represents the worst aspects of modern France.

“China at least showed the best of its country in its Olympics,” he noted. “France seems determined to show the weakest and worst parts of its country in its Olympics.”

Army veteran and radio host Bob Lonsberry wrote: “This may partly explain why so many people left Europe to settle in the United States.”

Marion Maréchal, a French conservative politician and Member of the European Parliament, who spoke at CPAC in the United States, warned international viewers that this polarizing portrayal does not represent French people like her.

“To all the Christians around the world who watched the #Paris2024 ceremony and felt insulted by this drag queen parody of the Last Supper, know that it is not France that is speaking but a left-wing minority ready for any provocation. #notinmyname,” she wrote.
