Starring in Nosferatu, the actor talks about his career with Conan O'Brien.
Guest on the podcast Team Coco, Nicholas Hoult was asked about his entire career. From his beginnings with Hugh Grant, with whom he had a lot of fun on For a boy (2002), and whom he was delighted to meet again during their respective promotions of Juror #2 And Heretiche says he kept “sense of humor” squeaking from his playing partner. As well as excellent memories of filming, the adult actors who surrounded him all being caring and involved in the smooth running of the film.
Discussing his key roles up to his performance as “Scream Queen” In Nosferatuopposite Lily-Rose Depp and Bill Skarsgard, the thirty-year-old actually confides with a lot of humor, but he also appears more serious by addressing the films or series that have had a more personal impact on him.

About Skinsthe British series which truly revealed him to the public, he describes having suffered the full brunt of his sudden fame, the broadcast of the show having coincided with another social phenomenon: the arrival of mobile phones allowing people to take photos and videos.
“I was 16 or 17 years old [dans Skins]. I think it was around this time that cell phones with cameras started to appear? It was a weird transition because up until then, I had been able to live my life normally. As this series was popular in my age group, I had the impression that I was being closely watched, that my every move was being scrutinized.”

Nicholas Hoult also says he was so involved in the preparation of Fury Road that he suffered from body dysmorphia while filming George Miller's blockbuster. O'Brien then explains that he didn't recognize Nux at all! To play the War Boy who ultimately finds himself teaming up with the heroines led by Furiosa (Charlize Theron), he had to follow a diet and “run a lot”he explains. But once on set, he didn't see himself as skinny as he really was:
“Nux is supposed to be on his deathbed at the beginning of the film, so losing weight was part of the deal, it was something George asked me to do. I didn't feel that skinny, I didn't I didn't realize until we were filming. 'Wow, you're just skin and bones!' I didn't realize I had gotten this far.”
