The father accused of killing his 4-month-old son in Bloomfield is now in Allegheny County Jail facing new charges. Seth Williams, 28, has now been charged with two counts of aggravated assault, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and criminal homicide. Police say that 4-year-old Micaiah Williams suffered significant skull fractures, brain damage extending to his spinal cord and two broken shoulders. He was taken to UPMC Children’s Hospital in critical condition and died several days later. Investigators say one of the child’s siblings told police that Williams had thrown Micaiah and the twin as well. A criminal complaint says Williams’ father told police that his son had called saying that the children were acting up and asked if the grandfather could come and pick them up. Days after his death, Micaiah’s mother, Aleah Ostruh, says that she is doing her best to push through and is remembering the good times with her son. “He’s my buddy. We watched movies together, did everything together. So, like, those are the happy memories that I have,” Ostruh said. The family has since set up a GoFundMe page.
