The curse continues and targets a pop star.

After the great box office success of the first part in 2022, Parker Finnthe director, wore a broad smile and found himself confident to continue scaring part of the audience. Smile 2 Will it be as terrifying as the first one? At least that's what Lukas Cage assured (The White Lotus) present at the casting and who recounted how much the filming gave him chills:

“I didn’t throw up, but I felt really sick. I was really shocked by the intensity of the shooting days. You think: 'It's from theactingit'll be OK'but this movie is super scary. The whole crew was terrified. That smile in itself is so creepy, so if you add the gore scenes to that, yeah, I have a weak stomach. I'm a wimp.”

This sequel will also see the return of one of the characters from the first opus: Joel (Kyle Gallner). The film will be released on October 16 in theaters, perfect timing to get scared on Halloween.
