Monk: TF1 will soon broadcast the reunion TV film in France

Fifteen years later, here we go again Monk. The detective series ended in 2009 in the USA, but Tony Shalhoub back in service! A TV film was broadcast last December on Universal's Peacock platform (not available in France). Mr. Monk's Last Case: A Monk Movie takes place in the wake of Covid, while Adrien Monk is traumatized by the pandemic. But a very personal matter will put him back to work…

This TV film, which lasts 1 hour 40 minutes, will be available in France in the clear, under the title Monk, the return. It is TF1 which will broadcast it at the start of the school year in Prime Time, announced Xavier Gandon, director of antennas, during a recent press conference. It should be noted that a sequel is already in preparation.

TF1 will also broadcast the mini-series unencrypted this fall Connection from Apple TV+, broadcast in February 2023 on the streaming platform. A French spy and romance thriller, which brings together Vincent Cassel and Eva Green.

Finally, we are also expecting, during the second half of the year, in the clear on TF1, the crime series Elsbethwith Carrie Preston. Derived from the saga The Good Wifeit is a thriller in the style of “Columbo“, where the culprit is revealed in the first minutes of the episode, and we discover how the heroine ends up unmasking him. Broadcast since February on the CBS channel in the United States, the series is still unpublished in France. It has already been renewed for a season 2.
