Without generating a resounding buzz, Miskina, poor thinglaunched in 2022 on Prime Video, had won over critics and found its audience. Enough for the platform to order the sequel to Melha Bediacreator and star of this funny and touching series recounting the misfortunes of a young woman of Algerian origin who has no job, no home, and no boyfriend.
At the end of season 1, Fara (Melha Bedia) had lost her grandmother and found herself torn between her love for her childhood friend, Nassim (Hakim Jemili), and her meeting with Damien (Xavier Lacaille). Two years later, we find her in more trouble than ever. Her grandmother's inheritance is in fact a debt of more than 100,000 euros, and she will go in search of a family treasure to try to resolve the situation.
Synopsis: After her grandmother's death, Fara took her life back into her own hands. And she's doing very, very well. How does she do it? It's simple, she's a master mythomaniac. Fara lies about everything and to everyone: to her boyfriend, to URSAFF, about her job, to her mother and her friends… But above all, she lies to herself. It's a family affair, with the Alaouis, we lie from grandmother to daughter! On the trail of the ghosts of their past, the Alaouis will finally perhaps learn to tell each other the truth.
Shirine Boutella, Oussama Kheddam, Victor Belmondo, Nadia Kaci, Alka Balbir and Alison Wheeler complete the cast of Miskina season 2. Melha Bedia and Anthony Marciano are once again sharing the direction of this new batch of six episodes which will arrive on Prime Video on September 27. Trailer:
