Meet two service dogs who have become fan favorites at the RNC

A Wisconsin delegate’s service dog has become a fan favorite at the Republican National Convention.Terrence Wall, a delegate from Middleton, Wisconsin, said he was surprised when his dog Lambeau grabbed the attention of convention attendees Monday at Fiserv Forum. Wall said Lambeau, a 7-year-old English Labrador retriever, is his service dog who monitors a heart defect Wall has had since birth.”He’s never been at an event like this, I will admit that,” Wall said. “The noise bothered him at first, but he’s gotten used to it. But he loves the attention — he does, not me.”Wall estimates that Lambeau is asked for at least 250 pictures each day by other delegates, reporters and attendees.”At least that many. I lost track. It was three or four at a time, every ten minutes, for ten hours. Unbelievable.” Wall said.Wall is a delegate from the Second Congressional District of Wisconsin and said Lambeau is named after the Packers stadium.”I’m just his human support agent. I’m working for him.” Wall said.Other dogs were stealing the show at the RNC, including Tzeitel, who’s attending with a Texas delegate and is turning heads with her fashion choices. Tzeitel, a black golden doodle, never goes anywhere without a hat, according to her owner, Albert Herrera. She also has baseball caps. Although Tzeitel loves people and goes to visit hospice patients back in Texas, she has her limits. When she gets tired or there are too many people on the RNC floor, she curls up under the seats and falls asleep.Delegates weren’t the only ones who brought four-legged companions to the RNC.On Tuesday, Babydog, West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice’s bulldog, joined him on stage for a speech.
